Fur: an imaginary portrait of Diane Arbus
"Diane Arbus is torn between a bizarre relationship with a neighbor suffering from hypertrichosis, Lionel Sweeney and a conventional life with her husband Allan, a photographer. A clogged drain leads her into a netherworld populated by transvestites, dwarves and others living on the fringes of society."
Fur: an imaginary portrait of Diane Arbus is a "fictionalized account of the life of renowned photographer" Diane Arbus. It's a very werid but a nice love story. It stars my new favorite actor Robert Downey Jr. Thought this film was a box-office failure
it's still a great movie in my eyes. I didn't mind Nicole Kidman playing the role of Diane Arbus but I think they could have gotten someone a little better. Anyways, it's an amazing love story and I love the costumes. The fact that it's fiction means that the director can take his imagination of the story as far as he wants to. And you will see all of that in this movie.Trailer:

Saw this film very recently and found it very enjoyable. Not only was it a treat for the eye, but the story of a woman's awakening from the norm and introduction into the strange and exciting is always a lovable theme. And Robert Downey Jr.! Even through the almost comical Chewbacca-like attachments manages to make his character indearing and lovable. That is a performance worth seeing.
