APT/아파트
"Se-jin, a lonely department store employee, moves into a high-rise apartment building. One day she notices that the lights in the windows of the building opposite all start to mysteriously flicker at exactly 9:56pm. She begins to suspect that these occurrences are somehow linked to a series of suspicious deaths in the neighbourhood."
APT is a south korean horror film that stars my favorite Korean actress, Ko So-young, so I knew that I was going to like this. Her acting is so great in this film (she does great acting in any role really) and the movie itself is a real good. I think Ko So-young should star in more horror movies. If you live in Singapore the title of the movie is called 9:56. When I purchase this movie online my friend asked me "Don't you get tired of asian horror movies?" . The film is creepy but also very sad, I really did cry at some scenes in the movie. I reccomend this to all who are not chickens
!Here's the trailer:
P.S. Would you guys like me to reccomend other kinds of movies or just horror/thriller?

Ouuu looks interesting! i love horror and thriller movies the best!!
I may have told you before...I really liked this film too. Recently found a copy of 'Nine Tailed Fox' with Ko So Young; in that early film she portrayed a fox spirit. Very similar to a werewolf story. But 'The Apartment'; really good ghost story.
@cliff_07 - I have Nine tailed Fox and I thought it was very good.
@LaDieCaLi18 - Me too!
Wow...that kinda scared me. I'm gonna check it out. I'm SOOO mad though! That movie you rec'd a few weeks ago "Cinderella" was on the Sundance channel this week but I didnt know until after it aired!! Damn. I'm gonna check on demand. If I wasnt so broke, I'd buy the DVDs, the stuff you recommend is good.
It'll be cool to see a variety of movies but dont stop the horror! They're way better than the shitty, remakes they turn out lately. They wanna remake Nightmare on Elm Street now too!! I'm pissed. I bet it wont be nearly as good as the original. Movie people put too much stock into effects & not the stories.
Did you ever see the Japanese film "Dark Water". That was really awesome. It might still be on youtube if you havent seen it. I didnt see the remake yet. I will though. I'm not the type that thinks all remakes & sequels are bad. I give somethings a fair chance. =)

@Shinbi_Belldandy - I've seen Dark water and you're right it is good. I also hate remakes too, they always turn out to be really awful.
ohh sounds interesting. is it subtitled in english?
@Shinta_20090219 - Yes it is.
Flickering lights- that sounds like a good theme for a horror movie. Probably everyone is creeped out by lights when they do that.
@Shinta_20090219 - hmm so its out on blueray and dvd right? and u can probably download it somewhere...u have the link? lol
I'm not very interested in horror, but a good movie is still a good movie.
Trailer looks interesting.
